A short about a couples first kiss. This piece is based on my relationship with my wife, Valdese, who also styled the wardrobe.

We often enjoy our time out shooting photos with vintage cameras, coffee and of course il baci.

A goal for this project was for the talent to communicate warmth, playfulness and a natural attraction towards one another.

In addition I wanted to shoot fast, edit quick and get amazing results. I wanted to learn how quickly I could write, shoot, edit and deliver a high quality short.

The edit was done in Final Cut Pro X. The design of the edit and grade were created to emphasize the warmth, attraction and playfulness of the actors.

My goal for this experiment was to design a short that was a slice of a secret agent film. I wanted to create a sense of urgency and stress. To accomplish this I editing using quick cuts and a "run & gun" shooting style.
